In the bucolic setting at the mouth of the Sarno river, within the spaces of the Montoro farm in the workplace, fraction of Sarno, Wednesday 30 October, starting from hours 10:30, the "Laying of the First Stone" event was held for the creation of a path to be able to experience the river as a path to be rediscovered. An initiative that is part of the project co-financed by the Foundation with the SUD, “CuriAmo, ViviAmo e ParticipiAmo il Sarno” which saw protagonists on the front line today, active citizenship, the management body of the Park Authority of the Sarno river basin, the Environmental Guards of the KRONOS association with the President De Bartolomeis Alfonso, as well as Legambiente Campania Onlus, Project leader.
The honors were held by the President of the Park Authority of the Sarno river basin, the Dott. Crescenzo Antonio and representatives of public institutions also attended: the Mayor of the Municipality of Sarno, the Dott. Camphor Joseph, the Delegates of the Municipality of Nocera Inferiore, Pompeii, Poggiomarino, Annunziata Tower, Valentine's Day Torio, the Regional Manager for the forestry sector, the Dott. Santa Lucia Pasquale, the Commissioner of the Sarno District Comprehensive Reclamation Consortium, Dr. D'angelo Mario Rosario.
An inaugural intervention for the future construction of an itinerant route that will develop for approximately 700 mt., near the first stretch of the river's fluvial branch, useful for allowing the observation of local flora and fauna, managing to contagiously trigger a series of virtuous practices to improve, step by step, the quality of the water and regain possession of a great hydrographic heritage to be taken care of, Live and Participate.
