| FUND FOR THE DIGITAL REPUBLIC – Impresa sociale SRL – together with Google.org – promotes the “vIvA” tender – Innovative initiatives for the development of skills in the field of Artificial Intelligence for the benefit of people in vulnerable conditions. Purpose: The call aims to support training projects for the development of digital skills in the field of Artificial Intelligence, with particular reference to the Made in Italy sectors in the following sectors:. Agri-food; Furniture and furnishings; Fashion and clothing; Metalworker; Trade and E-commerce; Metalsiderurgico; Turismo. Training actions: they must be intended for individuals who are in vulnerable conditions, like unemployed people, inactive, NEET, workers at risk of demotion or replacement, people with disabilities, underrepresented minorities, victims of violence, residents in disadvantaged areas or marginalized contexts. The goal last is to support initiatives that spread the culture of Artificial Intelligence, making qualified human capital available to the Made in Italy production fabric, able to face the challenges of the future and exploit the opportunities offered by the technologies introduced with the advent of AI. beneficiary: Project proposals can be submitted by a single entity or by partnerships made up of a maximum of five entities. Responsible party must possess the following requirements: be a public or private non-profit entity;have been made for at least two years in the form of a public deed or private or registered private writing;not be a trade association or a trade union. Even though they are entities non profit, trade associations and trade unions can participate in this call exclusively as partners; have never carried out activities that conflict with the objectives of the Digital Republic Fund and with Google's AI principles2; having submitted only one proposal in response to this announcement, with the only exception of universities, of research centers23 and public bodies. In the case of presentation of several proposals by the same responsible person, These will all be considered inadmissible; Characteristics of potential partners: The other subjects of the partnership for a maximum of 5, further than the Responsible Party and to the exclusion of the partner for profit, they must be public or private non-profit entities. All partners involved in the project proposal must possess the following requirements: have registered office in Italy;have never carried out activities that conflict with the objectives of the Fund and with Google's AI principles. No partners, with the only exception of universities, of research centers28 and public bodies29, may participate in more than one project proposal, under penalty of exclusion of all the proposals in which it is present. Trade unions and trade associations they can participate exclusively as partners. Each partner must register on the Re@dy platform, under penalty of inadmissibility of the proposal. Eligible initiatives: The project proposals must include specific actions that ensure real possibilities of access and usability of an effective and qualified training offer that acts on the development of skills in the field of Artificial Intelligence for subjects who are in vulnerable conditions. Contributions: The tender foresees a total amount equal to 2.600.000 €, whose resources are made equally available by Google.org and the Digital Republic Fund. They are financeable proposals involving a contribution of between a minimum of 200.000 and a maximum of 300.000 €.
