• Expanded recipients: I remain in the south 2.0 represents a new version of the incentives for starting entrepreneurial and professional activities in Southern Italy and in the seismic craters of Central Italy. The measure has been active since July 2025, with implementing decree already operational.
• Higher non-repayable fund: The non-repayable contribution reaches 75% for investments up to 120.000 euro, and the 70% Between 120.000 e 200.000 euro.
• Startup voucher: Vouchers available up to 40.000 euro (o 50.000 euros for innovative and technological purchases) for start-ups.
• Target young people under 35 in conditions of vulnerability or unemployment: Particular focus on young people in socially marginalized situations, unemployed or recipients of the GOL Workers Employability Guarantee[3][6].
• Territorial extension: Also included are the municipalities of the seismic crater of Lazio, Marche, Umbria and the smaller islands of Central-Southern Italy.
Access Requirements
• Age: And 18 until 35 years not completed; for some particular categories it can go up to 55 years in the standard versions.
• Residence: In the southern regions (Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia, Sicily) or in municipalities affected by seismic events in Central Italy (Lazio, Marche, Umbria) or smaller islands.
• Working condition: Unemployed, unemployed, inactive or in a condition of social vulnerability[.
• Mandatory training: Training and tutoring paths provided to access contributions.
• VAT number: Opening of VAT number and possible registration with professional orders according to the activity undertaken.
• No ownership of other business activities active on the reference date and no use of similar incentives in the last three years.

Use: The sectors of primary production of agricultural products are excluded, fishing and aquaculture.
Procedure and Timings
• Online applications: Presentation via Invitalia platform with digital identity (Spid, CIE, CNS).
• Preliminary evaluation: Within 60 working days.
• Delivery: First deposit to 50% of the progress of the works, final balance after verification of expenses.
