Public notice of grant for projects to promote participation in social life and autonomy, for the promotion of the talents and skills of people with disabilities.
The resources: Resources equal to a total of euros 386.400.000,00 aimed at providing non-repayable financial contributions (grants) for the implementation of project initiatives consistent with the relevant provisions.
Things: The “Vita & Opportunity” aims to encourage participation in social life and the development of autonomy, of the talents and skills of people with disabilities, in different dimensions of life: housing, work and free time. It is promoted by the Minister for Disabilities with the Notice published on 14 February 2026 and is managed by the Department for policies in favor of people with disabilities, with the support of Invitalia. The financial allocation is 386,4 million euros.
To those who turn The measure is aimed at:
Third Sector Bodies (ETS) registered in the Single National Register of the Third Sector (RUNTS), in single or associated form
Local authorities, in the single or associative form pursuant to the TUEL, only for interventions carried out in internal areas and smaller islands
They can be indirect beneficiaries, as participants of a territorial network, ETS, benefit company, Local authorities e, limited to the line “Projects for Social Agriculture”, also social agricultural enterprises.
The final recipients of the interventions must be people with certified disabilities, normally resident or domiciled in the geographical area of reference for the implementation of the project presented.
What can be done
Line 1 Life project
It consists of three dimensions:
- housing size
- working dimension
- life time dimension
The implementation of at least two dimensions in an integrated manner is required.
Must be submitted by a lead ETS (consisting of at least 5 years) networked with at least two ETS partners (consisting of at least 2 years), plus any other partners. Promoting entities may be added in order to encourage implementation and guarantee the strengthening and sustainability of the activated interventions over time. For the smaller islands and internal areas, the project can also be presented by a local authority individually or in an associative form pursuant to the TUEL.
What to finance
projects for a minimum amount of 250.000 euro
a maximum contribution of:
2 million euros for projects involving two dimensions
3 million euros for projects involving three dimensions
For smaller islands and inland areas the contribution has a minimum amount of 100.000 euros and a maximum amount of 500.000 euro
Line 2 Social agriculture projects
They support initiatives for the development of work inclusion paths, workshops and recreational courses in the cultivation or breeding of animals. They can also be presented by ETS in single form.
If the projects are presented in the form of a territorial network, the methods of incorporation are those of the "Life Project" line and they can participate, as a partner, also social agricultural enterprises.

Line 3 Recreational activities for children and young people with disabilities
They support initiatives to carry out educational activities, recreational and recreational activities aimed at children and young people with certified disabilities, until 22 years, to encourage a better quality of recreational time. Projects can be submitted by ETS (consisting of at least 5 years), even in single form. If the projects are presented in the form of a territorial network, the methods of establishment are those of the "Life project" line.
What to finance
projects for a minimum amount of 90.000 euro
a maximum contribution of 300.000 euro
All projects of the three lines of intervention must have a minimum duration of 12 months and maximum of 36 months.
Grants
A grant is provided in the form of a non-repayable contribution which, within the maximum limits set by the Notice, can cover:
until 95% of the cost of the project presented by Third Sector Bodies, in single or associated form
until 100% of the cost of the project presented by local authorities, in the single or associative form pursuant to the TUEL (Consolidated Law on Local Authorities)
Submit your application
Applications for admission to the grant must be submitted from hours 12:00 of the 2 March 2026 at 17:00 of the 29 August 2026. Applications submitted before the opening deadline of the desk or after the closing deadline will be considered inadmissible. The request for participation, together with the attachments required for the different project cases, must be sent via PEC in one go (a single PEC for each grant application). The assignment will follow the submission of the grant application, based on the chronological order of presentation, of the alphanumeric protocol identifying the project proposal. The protocol will be communicated via PEC to the address indicated in the application and coinciding with the one used to send it, within the day following the date of receipt. Applications for admission to the grant must be complete with all attachments, reported at the bottom, to each of the application forms provided for the different project cases, as well as signed by authorized parties. If the applications are incomplete – also in relation to one of the mandatory attachments above – or should not be correctly signed, the same will be considered inadmissible; the protocol assigned to the resulting questions, following subsequent checks, incomplete or non-compliant, will be subject to cancellation. In this case the applications are to be considered not received and may, therefore, be resubmitted. Invitalia will communicate the inadmissibility within 5 days. Grant applications that – despite being complete with all the documentation required at the bottom of the application forms for the various project cases, as well as correctly signed – they lack data and/or design information necessary for their evaluation, may be the subject of a request for integration, to be responded to by 10 days. Spontaneous additions will not be taken into consideration.
All application documentation, to be sent via PEC in a single solution, it must be contained in a single compressed folder (.zip).
