Program “Guarantee of Employability of Workers - GOL”

National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Mission 5 “Inclusion and Cohesion”, Component 1 “Labour Policies”, Reform 1.1 “Active Labor and Training Policies”, Funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU.

My name – Mediterranean Information Agency, Authority accredited for professional training (Code of accreditation par to goals: 681), proposes in its catalog the paths provided by the goal program - guarantee of employability of workers, a strategic initiative of the national recovery and resilience plan (PNRR) To encourage employment in Italy through the strengthening of professional skills.

The goal program aims to promote the insertion and reintegration of unemployed people and workers in conditions of employment fragility, offering personalized free training courses.

Who can access the Free Courses of the GOL Program

They are beneficiaries of the GOL program, with the possibility of accessing free courses to obtain professional qualifications or short-term courses, come on people 30 until 65 years, residents and/or domiciled in Campania, which I am, alternatively in at least one of the following situations:

  • Beneficiaries of social safety nets while maintaining an employment relationship: the specific categories of workers are identified by the Budget Law 2022;
  • Beneficiaries of social safety nets in the absence of an employment relationship: unemployed recipients of NASPI or DIS-COLL;
  • Beneficiaries of welfare income support: recipients of citizen's income;
  • Fragile or vulnerable workers: women in disadvantaged conditions, people with disabilities, mature workers (55 years and beyond), people who are in the care of or are reported by bodies operating in the social or socio-health services system and/or are included in social inclusion projects/interventions;
  • Unemployed without income support: unemployed for at least six months, other workers with fewer employment opportunities (young people and women, even not in fragile conditions), self-employed workers who stop working or with very low incomes;
  • Workers with very low incomes (i cosiddetti working poor): whose income from employment or self-employment is lower than the threshold of insufficiency according to tax regulations.

However, NEET/NON-NEET young people are excluded from the programme (less than 30 years) temporarily beneficiaries of the Youth Guarantee programme.

The scheduled training courses

The goal program includes five personalized paths, differentiated according to the employment profile and the needs of the person:
Job reintegration: Orientation and accompaniment services for those closest to the labor market;
Update (Upskilling): Short and professionalizing courses to update skills already possessed;
Redevelopment (Stretch): Complete training courses for those who need new skills to return to the world of work;
Work and inclusion: integrated path with local services for more complex situations;
Collective relocation: actions dedicated to groups of workers involved in corporate crisis.
