We have come to the end of an extraordinary path! The Erasmus+ project TREE – Training and Resources to Enable a Green Era ends, leaving a concrete sign in the panorama of professional training and sustainability.

In recent years, The world of work is experiencing an unprecedented transformation. The urgency to face the climatic crisis has made the need to integrate green skills in the production and training sectors more evident. Sustainability is no longer an option, but a global priority, And to ensure an effective ecological transition, adequate tools are needed to train workers, trainers and companies.

In this context it was born TREE – Training and Resources to Enable a Green Era, A Erasmus+ project that has had the aim of identifying the best practices for the transmission and development of green skills, providing innovative tools and methodologies to support trainers and companies in the challenge of sustainability.

Thanks to the collaboration between international partners experts in the training and consultancy sector, Tree made it possible to create a bridge between education and the world of work, favoring the growth of a new generation of aware professionals and prepared to work in a more sustainable future.

🌱 Who we are: the project partners

Tree was made possible thanks to the collaboration of three important European realities:

Adim - Information Agency Mediterranea Srl (Italia): It is a consultancy firm and a training body accredited at the Campania Region. Present on the market for several years, Adim represents a consolidated reality in the multimedia communication sector. Initially born as a press agency, has been able to start a process of profound diversification, expanding their activities in the information sectors, of training and business consultancy. Furthermore, provides technical assistance to SMEs and local authorities for the implementation of development programs co -financed by European structural funds, as well as by national and regional resources, thus responding to increasingly diversified needs and needs. Furthermore, Adim collaborates closely with the Social Cooperative Demagò. This partnership strengthens their shared mission to promote social inclusion, provide professional training and develop innovative community -based solutions, combining skills both in communication and social services for more sustainable and more impactful projects.

NewProject International Agency (AiNP) (Spain): It is a non -profit organization dedicated to the realization of innovative projects in the sectors social, educational and tourist, both nationally and internationally. Ainp promotes collaborations and the creation of consortia with university, Companies and public or private bodies, With the aim of exploiting technological changes, collaborative work and innovative entrepreneurial proposals. Zeus Consulting (Greece): was founded in 2022 as the continuation of an original company born in 1992. It is an independent and pioneer private company in the sector, specialized in consultancy for projects of Research and development (R&D) and international collaborations. Zeus Consulting's main activity is linked to promotion of education, with the aim of enhance individuals, Organizations and communities in different sectors.

Tree had as its main objective to improve access to green skills, guaranteeing training and resources to trainers, students, workers and companies. The main priorities on which the project has focused:

  • Support people looking for work and professionals in the acquisition of strategic green skills, providing them with concrete tools to deal with the new requests from the labor market.
  • Promote behavioral changes in consumer habits and lifestyles, spreading a culture of sustainability in daily choices.
  • Support for ecological transition through innovative learning tools, developing training methodologies that respond to the needs of emerging production sectors and promote environmental awareness.
  • The integration of environmental skills in the training courses of the IFP (Professional education and training), so that sustainability becomes a central element in educational programs and professional qualifications.
  • Share best practices and knowledge to combat climate change and accelerate ecological transition, through international cooperation and the spread of success models.
  • The promotion of Best Practices to make the world of work more sustainable and responsible, encouraging the adoption of Green business models and the strengthening of the skills necessary to deal with climatic challenges.

During the project, We have made several key activities:

Monitoring meetings:

During the project TREE, Monitoring has played a central role to guarantee the effectiveness and coherence of the actions taken. Through a series of periodic meetings, The partners were able to confront each other regularly, Align strategies and make improvements in real time.

The Transnational meetings project TREE they represented a fundamental opportunity for partners, favoring the comparison and sharing of experiences at European level. These moments of dialogue have made it possible to align strategies and methodologies, analyze the needs of the sector, identify the most requested Green skills and share best practices for effective training. Furthermore, have strengthened the collaboration between the partners, creating useful synergies even beyond the duration of the project. Thanks to this continuous exchange, It was possible to develop an innovative and replicable training model, capable of responding to the challenges of the ecological transition.

Face-to-face activity:

The Face-to-face activity project TREE, like guided tours in companies, Institutes and training centers, they offered a unique opportunity to closely observe the practical application of green skills. These meetings have allowed partners to analyze innovative sustainability models already in use, Understanding the challenges and opportunities of the ecological transition in the various production sectors and collect concrete ideas to integrate green skills in the training courses, making learning more effective and directly connected to the needs of the world of work.

Good practices manual:

One of the most significant results of the project TREE It was the development of a manual of good practices on transverse green skills. This tool collects innovative methodologies, Successful experiences and effective strategies for the integration of sustainability in training courses and work contexts. The manual was developed thanks to a large desk research conducted by the partners, which made it possible to analyze the existing training initiatives in the field of the Green Economy. Furthermore, through national workshops e interviews with experts in the sector, Companies and professionals of education and professional training (IFP), The main drivers for the development of Green Skills have been identified. The manual not only provides practical indications for trainers and companies, but it also includes situational scenarios designed to improve the understanding of the skills and Mindset necessary to promote the Green Economy, even outside the working context.

The training course developed in the Tree project aims to provide a set of crucial skills to support the transition to a green economy, develop Green skills and fundamental transversal skills for the professionals of the future. This training course is divided into 12 Modules designed for trainers, Students and workers, with the aim of integrating sustainable practices in various production sectors and education.

  • A1- Environmental awareness
  • A2- Interpersonal skills
  • A3- Entrepreneurial skills
  • A4- Transversal technological skills

The modules deal with a wide range of topics. Participants will explore the sustainability in the professions of the future, examining how environmental skills can be integrated into professional training programs and working contexts. The importance of thesustainable innovation and of emerging technologies to face environmental challenges, together with practices to manage effectively environmental conflicts and negotiate sustainable solutions.

The course also provides tools to develop and improve interpersonal skills, like listening ability, management of conflicts, and negotiation, fundamental for success in dynamic professional environments. A particular focus is placed on entrepreneurial development, providing participants with the foundations for undertaking careers from entrepreneurs o undertakers in the green field, through the acquisition of Leadership skills, creativity, strategy e problem solving.

Furthermore, Participants are guided to build and promote their own personal brand, improving virtual communication and exploiting digital platforms to grow professionally and socially. The course has the intent of prepare professionals to respond to global challenges, with a strong environmental awareness and the ability to adopt sustainable practices in their career and their daily actions.

The Multiplier events project TREE they played a fundamental role in the diffusion of results and in the involvement of trainers, Companies and stakeholders. These events were an opportunity to present the developed methodologies, Collect feedback and sensitize the importance of green skills in the world of work. Furthermore, have allowed test the training course, evaluating its effectiveness and applicability in the various professional contexts, so as to perfect it and make it a truly useful tool for the ecological transition in the professional training sector.

Final conference:

Il 21 March 2025, at the suggestive Vasari room of the Sant'Anna dei Lombardi monumental complex in Naples, The Final conference of the Tree project – Training and Resources to Enable a Green Era. The event represented an important opportunity for comparison on the challenges of the ecological transition and on the importance of the professional training in the sustainability sector.

Konstantinos Voukydis (Zeus Consulting) they explained how the Tree project facilitated the creation of Green professional training courses, highlighting the challenges and opportunities of the ecological transition at European level. AINP conducted acomparative analysis on training courses in Italia, Spain and Greece, studying the best practices in terms of ecological transition. A particularly appreciated moment of the day was the presentation of the photographic project “Green generation”, made by the students of theIn Enrico Medit of San Giorgio a Cremano (THAT), guided by Prof. Giuseppe Barbato, dal Prof. Salvatore Napolitano and from the Prof. Bianca Maria Nunziata. At the end of the photo contest “Green generation”, promoted by Adim as part of the Tree project, Three winning photographs were selected, which together make up the collection “Greetings from the future”. This project was born with the aim of stimulating a critical reflection between students on the impact of pollution and environmental degradation, Using the visual language of photography to imagine a future in which everyday life takes place in scenarios for collapse now.

The last moment of the conference was dedicated to projection of a short film made by Coop. Social Demago for AdM, who retraced the path of the Tree project, the goals achieved and future prospects.
