The universal civil service represents an important opportunity for training and personal and professional growth for young people, which are an indispensable and vital resource for cultural progress, social and economic of the country.

• Objective: Promote and enhance the culture of legality, of solidarity and social justice through the creation of active citizenship paths, of social cooperation, of work culture, which involve social enterprises and communities in the Campania region in relation to the scope of action: “Support, Inclusion and participation of fragile people in the country's social and cultural life”.

The universal civil service is the voluntary choice of dedicating up to a year of one's life to the defense service, not armed and non -violent, of the homeland, to education, to peace between peoples and the promotion of the founding values of the Italian Republic, through actions for communities and for the territory. Is open to all young people aged among the 18 e 28 years (29 not accomplished), also foreigners regularly residing in Italy.
What does it offer:
- Recognition of a monthly allowance of approx 507,30 euro;
- Reserve of a share of the 15% in public competitions to those who carried out the civil service;
- Recognition, and enhancement and certification of the skills acquired;
- University training credits if foreseen by the chosen project;
- Certificate of participation in the universal civil service by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers;
- Preferential access for young people with minor opportunities (GMO), For universal civil service projects that foresee it;
The universal civil service has a flexible duration between 8 and i 12 months, Depending on the project. The time of activity is established in relation to the nature of the project and provides for a weekly commitment not less than 25 hours or a mountain hours of 1.145 hours for the twelve months. This mountain hours is reduced proportionally in the event that the service has a lower duration.
The universal civil service is open to girls and boys who have completed the eighteenth and not exceeded the twenty -eighth year of age, and requires the following requirements:
• be an Italian citizen or one of the Member States of the European Union or of a non -EU country regularly residing in Italy;
• Not having reported a sentence in Italy or abroad, even not definitive to the penalty of imprisonment of more than one year for a non -culpable crime or to a penalty of a lower entity for a crime against the person or concerning detention, use, porto, transport, illegal import or export of exploding weapons or subjects or for crimes concerning belonging or aiding and abetting to subversive groups, terrorist, or organized crime;
• You can participate in the universal civil service only once.
