The Central Guarantee Fund for SMEs is an instrument established by Law no. 662/96 (art. 2, comma 100, letter a) and operational since 2000.

Its purpose is to encourage access to the financial sources of small and medium -sized enterprises through the granting of a public guarantee that is accompanied and often replaces the real guarantees brought by companies.

Addressing the central guarantee fund, therefore, The company has no cash contribution, but it has the concrete possibility of obtaining funding without additional guarantees (and therefore without costs of surety or insurance policies) on the amounts guaranteed by the Fund
