The Electoral Office announces that, on the occasion of the next European elections in May, foreign EU citizens residing in the Municipality of Benevento can exercise the right to vote by submitting a specific application.
The form for submitting the application is available at the headquarters of the Electoral Office in Piazzale Iannelli (Megaparcheggio) and the deadline for submitting it, also by registered letter addressed to the same office, and the25 February 2019.
The positive outcome of the request will result in registration on a special added list which will allow the EU citizen to exercise the vote exclusively for the members of the European Parliament belonging to Italy, and not also for the members of the European Parliament belonging to his country of origin, vigendothe ban on double voting.
