The LET'S DIFFERENTIATE project – Awareness campaign for eco-sustainable behavior promoted by Uniat Campania Aps in partnership with FareAmbiente Campania Aps – whose conference was presented directly on Facebook on 13 November 2020, sets specific objectives: promote just societies, peaceful and inclusive, promote equal opportunities and contribute to the reduction of inequalities.
Let's differentiate ourselves aims to improve the condition of ERP housing assignees who, it will allow them to develop sensitivity towards environmental issues and to adopt eco-sustainable behaviors in their daily lives, in order to improve coexistence in condominiums, reduce conflicts and fuel community welfare mechanisms for marginalized citizens.
After an initial phase of coordination and management of the project, the second step concerns the qualitative-quantitative investigation on the eco-sustainable behaviors of the project target i.e, the preliminary description of the training and information activities in the area, on the environmental sustainability behaviors of the target audience. The investigation which ones- quantitative was entrusted to an external party who took care of all the survey phases: sample construction, processing of the questionnaire, data analysis and reporting of results.

The questionnaire can be delivered to the UNIAT offices located throughout the area or to the condominiums involved, instead, the online version can be filled in on the project web page or at the UNIAT offices with the assistance of volunteers. The same questionnaire and the same administration methods will be used in the final phase of the project to verify the effectiveness and impact of the activated actions. Subsequently, the results of the preliminary investigation will be analyzed to identify the priority areas for intervention. Then we will proceed with a detailed planning of the project activities: training plans, editorial tool-kit, geographical and temporal dislocation of infodesks.
What result do you intend to achieve??
These actions are aimed at promoting, enhance and reward sustainable consumption management practices in condominiums, aiming to rationalize water and energy consumption and reduce waste production. Also through communication activities, a general awareness raising activity is carried out among the population residing in the four provinces of Campania, selected with a particular focus on recipients of public residential housing in peripheral neighborhoods at high risk of urban and social degradation.
The focus of the project activities consists of:, at a later stage, in the formation of 15 volunteers (target differentiated by age and gender) on the issues of eco-sustainability linked to the protection of the common good and the activation of active citizenship and social inclusion processes, who will then play the role of "agents of change".
The project will develop, educational and awareness-raising courses for the acquisition of eco-sustainable behaviors that, can impact both on the protection of the common good (public residential construction), and on environmental protection, and on social coexistence relationships in condominiums and peripheral neighborhoods. The topics that will be covered are:: waste cycle (waste reduction, minimum production, reuse, recycling and repair of goods, correct provision), energy saving, low environmental impact power supply and reduction of environmental waste, sharing of durable goods, local community initiatives for cleaning and maintaining common public areas (condominium gardens, ecc.).
The teaching activity of volunteers (whose detailed program will be defined following the preliminary investigation) will be divided into at least 12 hours of classroom training held by experts selected by FARE AMBIENTE CAMPANIA. The volunteers will also study the TOOL-KIT for the adoption of eco-sustainable behaviors which will become fundamental educational material for them for the subsequent awareness phase. The agents of change will then be involved in dissemination activities in the relevant territory, through the opening of info-desks at the Uniat offices, the offices of local authorities involved and in some condominiums identified as critical.
In meetings with citizens and tenants, TOOL-KITS for the adoption of correct eco-sustainable behaviors will also be distributed, fundamental tool for raising awareness and information towards the project objective target. The tool-kits will also be available for download on the section dedicated to the project on the proposers' website.
