N’ARTE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL
N'ARTE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL will take place in Largo San Martino al Vomero from 21 al 27 December 2024.
The Festival, promoted by the Silvia Ruotolo Onlus Foundation, the N'Arte social promotion association, Aloha Eventi e Stragency enjoys the moral patronage of the Municipality of Naples, of the V Municipality, of the Vomero Arenella Municipality Legality Council, is part of the cultural programming of Naples City of Music, and will involve thousands of people from the city of Naples, promoting the solidarity activities of the Silvia Ruotolo Onlus Foundation in favor of children and the territory, giving opportunities to young emerging artists from the city of Naples to express themselves in the Christmas village that will animate the Belvedere di San Martino, in line with the objectives of inclusion and valorisation of the neighbourhood.
The heart of the project:
N'ARTE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL acts as a link between different worlds, uniting cultures, races, lifestyles, tradition and innovation. The primary objective is to foster a strong sense of community, in particular among the new generations of young people in training, and relaunch the neighborhoods of Naples as spaces for authentic socialization, increasingly rare in the current urban context.
Through the Festival, and its rich cultural programming, young local talents will be valorised, through the space dedicated to music in the square of the Certosa di San Martino which will give visibility to a large group of emerging artists - musicians, painters, photographers – who, despite having talent and passion, they often do not find adequate opportunities for expression.
During Christmas, solidarity and volunteering will be encouraged, through the organization of a charity auction with a work by the master Alessandro Flaminio, the proceeds of which will be entirely donated to the Silvia Ruotolo Onlus Foundation, committed to supporting families in difficulty and beyond, organizing an art exhibition by the nationally and internationally renowned artist Alessandro Ciambrone whose proceeds will go to support the charitable activities promoted by the Festival, the promotion of the Il Giocattolo Sospeso solidarity initiative, to donate Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the area, and the involvement of residents and tourists with the Solidarity Aperitif.
The promoters of the Festival, for the first edition of N'ARTE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL, choose to support the Department of Integrated Maternal-Child Activity of the AOU Federico II.
In particular, the funds raised will be used to support medical care for newborns in the Intensive Care and Neonatology department, as well as for children hospitalized in the General Pediatrics department. An invitation to solidarity as a gesture of concrete closeness to the families and young guests of the Federico II University Hospital of Naples, valorising the extraordinary work of the medical staff who offers a precious and irreplaceable contribution every day.
The N'ARTE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL has, Furthermore, a strong gender perspective, thanks to the collaboration with the Meti Academy Association which will be present with its Women's Project. Give it every day 16 at 18 workshops and practical activities will be held, open to the public and free, with industry professionals, to support women in acquiring new skills and useful tools for career and job search. The week includes a rich program that alternates moments of leisure, culture and reflection.
