This morning, at 10, An important online meeting of the project was held BAG – Bringing skills and knowledge into sustainable tourism, with the aim of taking stock of the progress of the project and discussing in detail the structure of the research conducted by My name on sustainable tourism. The meeting brought together all the international partners, allowing an in-depth exchange of information and good practices between the different territories involved.
During the session, each partner presented the host communities identified in their country, following the guidelines defined in the last meeting. Both the positive aspects and the critical issues that emerged during the research were discussed, providing valuable insights for improving the project.
The Croatian partner Pull out illustrated five communities in Croatia, highlighting local characteristics and existing initiatives regarding sustainable tourism. The Spanish partner AiNP shared the results obtained in Spain, presenting a series of associations and villages committed to promoting local tourism and spreading sustainable practices. My name instead he explored the communities of Southern Italy, highlighting the main challenges encountered, in particular linked to the involvement of local actors and the active participation of communities.
One of the main objectives of the meeting was the best practices manual, a key tool for collecting and sharing successful experiences between partners. The team agreed to finalize its structure, which will include community profiles, the main activities and a transnational analysis of sustainable practices. During the meeting, AiNP presented a draft of the structure of the manual, including introduction, description of community profiles, main activities and comparison between partner countries.
The partners also discussed next steps, confirming that the next meeting will be held at the end of January, when the interview model to be used in the communities will be perfected and the design of the manual will be finalized, ready for the phase of collecting local content and experiences.
Today's meeting represented a fundamental moment of discussion and coordination, strengthening cooperation between partners and ensuring that the BAG project continues to develop concrete tools to promote sustainable and inclusive tourism in Europe.
