The Campania Region, through the ARUS, with an endowment of 200.000 euro supports the organization of inclusive sporting events with a tourist impact, as part of the event of interest this year 2026.
The expression of interest is part of the framework of the Regional Policies in favor of sport and physical activities, recognizing its social function, educational and community integration. The initiative aims to receive expressions of interest in the organization of sporting events “turnkey” with local tourist impact.
Territory of intervention
Entire territory of the Campania Region.
Proposing Entities Requirements
- Moral bodies and Third Sector Associations (ETS) registered in the Single National Register of the Third Sector (RUNTS), whose main activity is aimed at people with disabilities and vulnerable groups.
- Amateur Sports Associations/Clubs (registered in the Sports Registry&Health and affiliated with Federations/CIP)
- Non-profit social promotion associations
- ONLUS registered in the ONLUS register
- Absence of ongoing disputes with the Campania Region, regularity of contributions and absence of bankruptcy procedures.
Furthermore, the event must take place free of charge, it must have high quality in terms of communication and not overlap with other similar events in the area.

Type of interventions
- Promote sport, healthy sporting practices and outdoor life;
- Promote social inclusion, addressing individuals at risk of social exclusion or poverty, with disabilities and vulnerable groups (with particular attention to young people);
- Enhance the city context and promote the culture of sport, the multicultural encounter, respect, the valorization of differences and gender equality;
- Take place free of charge and have high quality in terms of promotion and communication.
Eligible expenses
- Rental and setup of spaces, local, sports facilities or facilities.
- Purchase or rental of sports equipment and instruments.
- Ambulance service.
- Professional performance (athletes, coaches, instructors, referees, healthcare personnel).
- Transport, catering and accommodation for athletes, technicians and healthcare personnel.
- Promotional and advertising material.
- Rewards consisting of material goods (expressly excluding cash prizes, scholarships and study trips).
- Sports items for immediate consumption.
Ineligible expenses
- Expenses relating to subjects other than the beneficiary (even if they coincide with the legal representative).
- Leasing contracts.
- Costs for employees.
- Annual subscriptions and printouts of trade magazines, telephone top-ups.
- Taxes and duties not directly attributable to the initiative.
- Promotional trips for activities and flat-rate reimbursements at the bottom of the list.
- Expenses incurred and receipted beyond 31/12/2026.
Resources available
The overall financial endowment is 200.000,00 euro;
Contribution/Financing:
- Maximum grant that can be granted: 5.000 euros for each selected project.
- The contribution can be raised to 10.000 euro if the event is aimed at people with disabilities (due to the higher organizational costs, of setup and equipment).
The contribution is provided in the form of financial participation to the expenses of the event.
