Within the framework of the activities of progetto BLOOM.25, yesterday a coordination meeting dedicated to WP3 – E-learning platform and blockchain certification system, with the aim of aligning the partners on the strategic choices and guidelines for the development of the project's training infrastructure.
The meeting saw the participation of the project coordinator of My name and the coordinator of WP3 of A&A Centro Emphasys,.
One of the main issues concerned the choice of the LMS platform. In relation to the project requirements, a shared orientation towards Moodle, considered more in line with the training and monitoring needs envisaged by the Work Package. However, the option was also taken into consideration WordPress, evaluating in a general way its potential and limitations with respect to the objectives of the project.
Ample space was dedicated to blockchain certification system, innovative element envisaged by the project proposal. The partners shared the need to develop a solution consistent with the project guidelines, evaluating possible integrations with the LMS platform and taking existing digital certification models as a reference, albeit with the aim of creating a customized system based on blockchain technology.
The meeting also touched on aspects related totechnical architecture, to hosting management and the future domain registration of the e-learning platform, postponing operational decisions to a later stage, preceded by further technical and feasibility analyses.
In the end, a has been agreed upon gradual path of development, which involves an initial research and design phase, the presentation of shared proposals to the consortium in the next meetings e, subsequently, starting the configuration of the platform and the integration of key functionalities, in parallel with the development of training contents.
The meeting represented a first and important moment of alignment, laying the foundations for the next WP3 activities and for a structured collaboration between the partners involved.
