A project for young people and for the territory
"Veliensis Oils" was born with the aim of promote youth permanence in their territories of origine, counteracting the generational exodus from rural villages and promoting a new model of sustainable development.
Over the decades, land fragmentation has hindered the formation of an agricultural entrepreneurial culture, but it allowed us to preserve the memory and experience of our ancestors in the production of excellence.
From this legacy a new perspective comes to life: enhance quality, the health and culture of the territory, creating new opportunities through product transformation, the innovative use of the olive tree (as in cosmetics) and experiential rural tourism.
The event also intends to launch a permanent training course, thanks to collaboration with the academic and scientific world, to offer technical and managerial skills to local micro-companies.
Towards the Olive Festival 2026
The Aliseo Association, with over forty years of experience in the field of archaeological and tourist valorisation, transfers the know-how gained in the Campi Flegrei to Cilento, with the aim of creating a replicable model of integrated service network that unites culture, research and business.
There are three main strategic lines:
1. Park of Imitative and Experimental Archeology dedicated to ancient Elea
2. Health stays
3. Olive tree and cosmetics
“Olea Veliensis” will therefore be a permanent laboratory and business incubator, where knowledge meets doing, and where tradition becomes the future.
